T-Mobile

Lonny led the Interaction Design team on this design project for a high-profile, but still unannounced product. The work involved initial concepting, user needs research, and resulted in the delivery of wireframes. In addition to the uniqueness of the product, this project also presented numerous challenges in coordinating parallel tracks of work, scoping, and scheduling. The final designs have been very well received by the client and we look forward to seeing them in the marketplace in the near future.

T-Mobile

Lonny led the Interaction Design team in creating the current T-Mobile UI Reference Guide. This Guide defines the qualities that will form the T-Mobile user experience in upcoming products across their entire product line. This effort involved close collaboration with teams for Visual Design, Motion Design, and Production.

AT & T

Lonny was involved in the full design of a mobile product for AT & T. This work involved partcipating in final design decisions and coordination with the visual design team in defining the final look and feel of the product. Deliverables included task flow wireframes and detailed screen specifications.

Adobe

For this project, Lonny worked with Adobe in producing reference applications for their mobile platform. Lonny was involved from the kickoff of the project and helped investigate and define the application goals for their new and exciting mobile technologies. Deliverables included scenario development, wireframes, and task flows, as well as coordination with the visual design and development teams throughout the project.

Qualcomm

Lonny worked on a mobile product for Qualcomm. This project involves early-stage, high-level design for a forward-looking mobile experience. We worked to design an experience that is exciting, innovative, and ultimately, very compelling for users. Deliverables included scenario development, wireframes, and task flows.

Sprint

Lonny worked on Sprint's next-generation mobile phone UI. There are some really exciting innovations being incorporated into the user experience that will be released some time down the road. This work involved designing the UI and creating wireframes, task flows, and development specification documents.

Cingular

Lonny took part in an intensive project with Cingular. The project consisted of designing the UI and creating UI specification documents to be used by developers in building a mobile product. This project involved 6 major parties, all of whom had many requirements to be reflected in the UI. Needless to say, this was a very interesting process.

Gridtag

Gridtag was a startup founded by Lonny several years ago that created the technology for a novel user experience centered on mobile phones. For the Gridtag mobile client application and Gridtag website, Lonny was responsible for overseeing the development of the user experience. Although he did not do any of the production work, he managed the efforts and was the ultimate sign off.

Akceil

Akceil is a startup working to develop a very small UI for devices with screens down to 1 inch diagonal. Initially, Furiant was brought in to perform a full competetive analysis and user study. Later, Lonny was asked to serve on the Board of Advisors and continued providing consultation on further user experience design and development, including work on wireframes, interaction flows, and forward-moving strategies.

PalmSource

We wish we could show you something from this project because it turned out to be truly amazing. In early 2005, Furiant was brought in to help PalmSource design the UI for their next-generation smartphone product. We helped develop the architecture, task flows, screen designs, and wireframes. The final design was really cool and we hope it reaches the commercial market someday.
